If you mean the event starts at 1pm in your time zone, then..well, it's bound to be at 1pm at some place in the world no matter when it starts...so there's no way to make everyone happy.

Also, most people don't work on saturday and almost no places (at least in the US) have school on saturdays...

Can someone help me with the times. I know that Central is -6 hrs GMT which would make it 1pm for the opening ceremony right. But daylight savings is confusing me....Is 1pm for Central US time correct?
Or is it 2pm becuase of daylight savings time?

Thank you I have no idea how I missed that. I did click on one of those links (i thought both) and yet somehow i missed it! LoL ok 2 my time.

I had another question.... with the costume contest how will it effect it because of the fact other peoples armors in town look alot worse then they do on our own screen and when not in town.

Already taken into consideration. Judges are well aware of this, and will judge based on the details they can make out, not those they can't.

I love the fact that this is all Rajah driving this thing, but the one and only thing I wish ANet would do is pipe in some festive music. Having just checked out ST, the music is depressing.

I bring very bad news. And good news, somewhat. For me. I am sorry I couldn't get in touch with you earlier, my life has been hectic as of late.

I was recently invited to an awards banquet for my college, since I won an award for outstanding freshman student... And it starts at 5 PM. I have to get ready and the like for this thing, so... I'm sorry, I can't make it tommorow for the Rock Paper Sissciors thing.

Just a quick question. Here you consider EST as -4:00 GMT. However, in many areas of the east coast (including mine) we're at -5:00 GMT.

Care to explain so I don't need to check the temple twice?

I would also like you to not bum rush into the pictures and get in the way of someone's photo. You do and I will report you to Rahja, of whom I'm guessing, will warn the servers to ignore you. I do not put up with stupididty or annoying people.

3.) All pictures will be free for this event, but once it ends I will be charging 25 gold per. That will contribute to the Charity. But if any of you feel generousity and want to give me a tip I will welcome it and contribute half to the charity or something.

4.) Do not be impatient! you'll get your turn eventually just wait. complaining isn't gonna help me go faster.

I will be in district int 1 all the time so if you want a pic go there.

I want you all to line up at merchant and line the walls back from there. when You get your pic I want you to stand in the corner near the torch and do any poses you want to.

just reminding you guys of the pic rules since I don't think everyone has seen them.

Man, we didn't get home until 10:00 p.m. last night, and by then you weren't online, and you're not online now...how in the world am I ever going to give you this stuff before the event starts!??!

Someone just pointed out above something about EST = GMT -4 or -5...and now that I look at it I guess they're right. Somehow I think this has something to do with daylight savings time, and that 3pm is still the right time for me, but I'll make sure I'm on before 2 just in case.

So I know you've said there's a meeting before the event..what time is it? 2:45? 2:30? Noon? LoL. Just wondering...I'll probably go camp out in serenity temple once I'm done with my housework for the day, so it doesn't matter for me, but I'm sure there are others who care quite a bit.
